Questions about working with an agent
Do I need a realtor to sell my house in Montana?
No. Montana law doesn't require you to hire a real estate agent to sell your home. You do still have duties, such as giving the buyer a written disclosure of adverse material facts you know about (MCA 70-20-502). Many sellers hire an agent for pricing, marketing, showings, contracts, and negotiation. If you're weighing it, I'm happy to talk it through, and you make the call.
What's the difference between a REALTOR® and a real estate agent?
Every REALTOR® is a licensed real estate agent, but not every agent is a REALTOR®. The term means the agent is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and agrees to follow its Code of Ethics. I'm a REALTOR® with HomeSmart Realty Partners.
Do you work with both buyers and sellers?
Yes. I help people sell homes, buy homes, and look at investment property. Many of my clients do both, selling one home and buying the next.
Do you only work in Great Falls?
Great Falls is home base, and I work across Cascade County, including Black Eagle, Belt, Cascade, Vaughn, Ulm, Sun River, Fort Shaw, Simms. I also help clients elsewhere in Central Montana and across the state.
